Gill Fitness has been a cornerstone of health and wellness in Martinsville since 2021. Located in the Jefferson Plaza at 10 Church St E Suite 205, Martinsville, VA 24112. Founded by Devyn Gill, the gym offers an intimate, private training environment with high-quality equipment. What truly sets Gill Fitness apart is not only Devyn’s personal touch and expertise, but his warming inviting energy as soon as you walk through his doors.

As a licensed physical therapist assistant and certified nutrition coach, Devyn tailors nutrition plans and weight training regimens to help clients achieve functional goals and prevent injury. Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or just beginning, Gill Fitness provides a welcoming space for all.

Devyn’s inspiration for starting Gill Fitness stems from his faith and passion for helping others. “I love to help people, and I truly believe that's what God placed me here to do,” he shares. Witnessing the consequences of unhealthy lifestyles on individuals and their families, he aimed to make a difference.

This mission came full circle on July 1, 2023, a day Devyn considers his proudest moment. Celebrating a grand opening with family, friends, and clients on his and his mother’s shared birthday, Devyn reflected on the culmination of his hard work and dedication.

Exciting changes are ahead as Gill Fitness plans to roll out group activities in the new year, including HIIT classes, Zumba, and Pilates. These offerings aim to foster greater community involvement and camaraderie.

For Devyn, Gill Fitness is more than a business; it’s a testament to faith and perseverance. “I want everyone to know that I’ve done all of this through and by the grace of God,” he says. He hopes his journey inspires others, showing what’s possible with faith, hard work, and a commitment to service.

One key takeaway from my visit to Gill Fitness Training is how deeply driven he is by the love and support of his family. While he's an exceptional trainer, it's clear that being an incredible father and husband comes first—and that heartfelt dedication shines through the moment you meet him.
